About My Book Store on Patreon

I have a digital shop on Patreon, giving at least 20% discounts for my books.

As a supplementary service, I created my own shop on digitalmehmet website to offer further discounts for my books. You can get 30% discount on my books in my new bookstore in PDF and EPUB versions.

I am authoring a book about Patreon for freelance writers and book authors as an alternative platform to Substack, especially for managing founding members.

What is Patreon Mastery, and how can creators, writers, freelancers, and startups benefit from it?

Patreon Mastery is a first-of-its-kind book — part personal reflection from the Zen of Book Authoring, part practical playbook — designed using architectural rigor, business strategy, design thinking, and ethnographic case studies in the actual Patreon ecosystem for many years, collaborating with other creators.

This book offers what most creators hardly get: a step-by-step system for building income, delivering value, and growing support around your work based on the experience of a person who used Patreon, an innovative and creator-friendly platform.

You will learn how I:

  • Launched and sustained consulting and coaching tiers for professionals, including book authors
  • Sold digital products like book chapters, audiobooks, and exclusive content to loyal supporters
  • Helped creators to build a system that works even in countries without Stripe, using PayPal
  • Integrated my Patreon with Substack, Medium, Beehiiv, Kit, and other platforms
  • Addressed cancellations and slow months, and recovered from pricing mistakes
  • Reframed my mindset around wealth, customer value, and ethical growth

This book is especially for creators who feel stuck — those who know how to create but not how to market, price, sell, or manage their business.

If you feel awkward selling, confused about your financials, or disconnected from your readers, this book will meet you where you are — with structure, support, and no gimmicks.

As the author of 40+ books and a lifelong educator and strategist, I built this system not just for myself, my students, or my proteges but for anyone ready to turn loyalty into financial support and steady income without losing their voice.

If Substack Mastery helped you begin writing and distributing newsletters, Patreon Mastery would help you build a better and bigger financial support system.

I will show you how to integrate Substack and Patreon seamlessly to maximize the synergistic outcomes. I invite you to start with clarity, intention, and lasting creative abundance, which will lead to financial freedom.

If you are a creator on Patreon, I’d love to obtain your feedback and interview you for this book, if you wish, to provide more valuable insights to potential readers who can benefit from your experience.

You can learn about my other services, like Substack, from the following page.

I give special discounts to Founding Members as I explained in Chapter 5 of my Substack Mastery book. Now, Founding members of my publications get a 90% discount, so instead of paying $500, they will pay only $51 per year to reap all the benefits of my Content Strategy, Development, & Marketing Insights. You can learn why I do this for these business partners.

I explained the importance of Patreon for freelancers in chapter 15 of my Substack Mastery book. Here is the link to the free chapters.

Frequently Asked Questions About Crowdfunding

What Does Crowdfunding Really Mean?

At its core, crowdfunding is the act of inviting a group of people to support a shared goal, vision, or creator, usually through small financial contributions that add up to something meaningful. That is the textbook version.

But I see it more personally: crowdfunding is trust made visible.

When someone contributes to your work—not because they have to, but because they want to—they are saying: “I believe in this. I believe in you. Keep going.”

That kind of trust deserves structure. It deserves clarity. It deserves a system that works—not just once, but every month, without friction.

That is what makes Patreon different from traditional crowdfunding tools.

Campaign-Based Crowdfunding vs. Ongoing Support

Traditional crowdfunding platforms—like Kickstarter, GoFundMe, or Indiegogo—are great for one-time campaigns. You set a goal, build momentum, market heavily, and deliver rewards after the campaign ends. That model works well for product launches, book printing costs, or major production investments.

But it is built around urgency. You are expected to offer rewards, manage fulfillment, and then close the project.

Patreon flips this model. It is not about launching one thing. It is about supporting the creative process itself.

Instead of saying, “Help me fund this one-time project,” you are saying, “Help me keep doing the work I do—writing, teaching, designing, supporting—on a steady, reliable basis.”

That shift matters. Because when support becomes recurring, your energy can go back into the work, not just into chasing the next campaign.

This is especially important for writers, coaches, educators, artists, and thinkers—people whose value is tied to consistent presence, not just one-time output.
